This chair replaced the Body Glove 5450 Dining Chair after the 1990 season. The appearance is very similar except this chair does NOT have a rod pocket at the base of the seat and back. Also the dimensions are different from the 5450 chair. Dimensions for the Body Glove Modified Dining Chair are 19 3/4" wide x 41 9/16" long. The 5470 chair was then replaced in 1994 with the 9650 Body Glove II style chair which looks exactly the same except for the frame itself. The frame on the Original Body Glove style and the Modified Body Glove style was the same...round tubular steel. On the Body Glove II Style 9650 Chair the frame was a flat stock about 1 1/2" wide. The 5470 and the 9650 use the same size sling.
